Dr. Wiljon W. Beltre is a board-certified bariatric surgeon based in Central Florida with more than 30 years of experience in general and bariatric surgery. He earned his medical degree from Howard University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Dr. Beltre subsequently completed a fellowship in bariatric surgery and advanced laparoscopy at the University of Texas in Houston, where he developed the specialized surgical foundation that defines his practice today.
A pioneer in outpatient bariatric care, Dr. Beltre was among the first bariatric surgeons in Florida to perform outpatient weight loss procedures when he introduced the approach in 2015.
